How to download Facebook Videos on Android ??

If you have got an Android handset and an active user of Facebook, you must have wondered about ways to download Facebook videos that appears on your wall and you instantly start liking it. For downloading Facebook videos on Android, there are few pre-requisite and before telling those, let me tell you there are two ways for downloading Facebook videos:

Method:1 – Use Opera Browser to Download Video from Facebook on Android   

The pre-requisite are:

• Download and install Opera Mobile
• Download any other video player like QQ player or MX Video player

Ok, so before starting, go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Select ALL tab above > Internet > Clear Defaults 
 

And same thing you’ll need to do for Video Player too like Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Select ALL tab above > Video Player > Clear Defaults.

So now its time to download Facebook videos on Android handsets.

Step 1: Open Facebook Application, look for any Facebook video you or any1 shared.

Click on it, it would show you option to play using any video player and Opera Mobile.

Click on Opera Mobile and your video will start downloading straight away.

But i personally don’t like this way (downloading video from Opera mobile), since if you experience any disturbance in Internet connection, video download doesn’t get resumed. And opera downloader is very bad downloading things.

Step 2: Open inbuilt (chrome) browser of Android, open Facebook and search for any Facebook video which you want to download. Click on it and it will show you option of opening videos via installed browsers.

In my case i had installed Opera Mini & Opera Mobile both. Choose Internet and then again it would show you option to Choose via Android System or Internet (Insert screenshot 7).

Again choose Internet and this time the video will start downloading right away.

The major benefit of using inbuilt browser is that it can resume downloading automatically if you internet connection face any disturbance.

Method:2 – Use ES File Explorer

Who cares if ES File Explorer is a file manager or a download manager? ES File Explorer though originally a file manager, helps you to download videos from several sites including Facebook easily. Here’s how to download a video from Facebook using ES File Explorer.

Step 1: Install the official Facebook and ES File Explorer on your device. Both are freely available on Google Play store.

Step 2: Launch Facebook and open the video you want to download and tap it.

Step 3: Tap on ES downloader when it asks you to choose one of the available methods to play the video. 

Step 4: The download will begin instantly!  

Method:3 – Use a Facebook Video Downloader 
 
There are several apps which allow you to download videos off Facebook easily. Some of them being MediaClip, Video Downloader for Facebook and Download Videos for Facebook. Continue reading for steps on using these apps.   

How to download video from Facebook using MediaClip ??

Step 1: After installing the app, simply search for a video using the search box. You can also paste the URL and when it appears in search results, click it. It only shows videos in the results. A better way is to bookmark the video you want to download and when you’re in MediaClip, search for something using the search box and when results appear, click on a small star button at the top and import the bookmarked URL..

Step 2: Once the page has loaded, simply tap on DL button available on top right corner of your screen and then select Videos in the next screen.

Step 3: The download will begin shortly and you can see the progress within the app.

How to download a Facebook video using Video Downloader for Facebook?

Step 1: After installing the app, launch the app and authorize it.

Step 2: You can explore your videos directly or go through your friends videos on tapping on Friends tab.

Step 3: You’ll see check-boxes next to videos. Tick the boxes besides the videos you are interested in downloading and hit the Download button.

How to use Download Videos for Facebook ??

Step 1: Install the app and open the official Facebook app and tap on any video link.

Step 2: Select Fire Video Grabber and the download will begin instantly.
