Playing around with the Windows Registry can be a dangerous thing to do. Sometimes due to sometimes due to some human error of if something goes wrong while editing the Registry, it is possible for your computer to malfunction. Hence before playing around with the Windows Registry, it may be a good idea to create a backup copy which allows you to recover your computer ever if something goes wrong. STEP 1: Right Click on COMPUTER and Click on Properties.
STEP 2: Click on the System PROTECTION option from the left pane.
STEP 3: Press the CREATE button and Windows will create a restore point to which your computer can be restored in case of any problems while editing the Registry.
